The European start-up twago thas is also partner of Startupbusiness announced the closing of an investmente round of almost 3 millions dollars. Following the press note released by the Berlin based company.
The largest pan-European marketplace for online-work, twago, successfully closed its financing round. A syndication of the Euro Serve Media GmbH and GMPVC German Media Pool GmbH invests cash and media services worth $2.900.000 (2.250.000 EUR) in the Berlin based startup. Together with its partner, German TV news channel N24, GMPVC will publish a significant TV campaign for twago.
The investment enables twago to implement its 3-Pillar-Growths-Strategy: Focus on regional expansion to keep its no.1 position in Europe, development of new products taking the latest trends in freelancing into account and investment in its team. “We used to double each quarter in all major KPIs. Our goal is to maintain and even exceed this amazing growth. We grow much faster than our competitors from the US in our core markets and will endeavour to keep this as a trend”, explains Gunnar Berning, CEO of Team2Venture GmbH, which owns twago.
“We see a perfect fit between twago and Euro Serve Media GmbH with all its portfolio companies. Due to the cooperation with such an experienced partner we can perfectly implement our 3-Pillar-Growths-Strategy”, adds Berning.

In addition twago plans a TV advertisement campaign for 10 weeks at the German news channel N24. “N24 offers the perfect target group for us.
