WeRoad chooses Jet HR’s platform

Jet HR, the startup that innovates the human resources sector and which debuted with a €4.7 million pre-seed in June 2023, announces that it has started 2024 with the signing of the agreement for the management of the onboarding and payment process of the staff of the traveltech scaleup WeRoad, which closed an €18 million Series B in November 2023 and which is growing throughout Europe in the hallmark of the travel experience and community as sharing, relationship and discovery for specific age groups between 25 and 49 years old.

Jet HR entered the market last July with the mission of eliminating bureaucracy from doing business, starting with the simplification of payroll based on two key elements: digital and new processes. Jet HR’s technology platform allows the company to automate vacation management, company cost simulations, payslip generation, onboarding of new employees, and much more. It is also complemented by the fundamental support of a network of highly qualified labor consultants available to client companies.

A solution that responds to the market’s strong need for simplification: a need immediately demonstrated by the success of the first round of financing signed by the most important Italian innovators and immediately afterwards by the response of companies: a few months after its launch, Jet HR has won over more than 100 customers, for a total of over 5 million euros per month in salaries managed.

Manage 150 employees and contractors

The already large number of SMEs and fast-growing companies is now joined by WeRoad which, as a scaleup with a vision of strong growth and expansion also abroad and a current overall size of about 150 team members, has identified the advantages of the Jet HR solution.

Elena Giombelli, CFO of WeRoad comments in a note: “We have chosen to adopt Jet HR to simplify the processes related to payroll and related bureaucratic requirements. This will allow us to facilitate the team’s work and free up our time to focus more on our business and the travel experiences of our WeRoaders. We are very happy to collaborate with startups that, like us, are determined to bring change and innovation, in this case Jet HR which, with its solution, not only generates efficiency in the HR ecosystem but also value in terms of communication and fluidity of the relationship with employees”.

Marco Ogliengo, CEO and co-founder of JetHR adds: “We started out aware that our solution touches one of the most delicate areas of any company: the payroll, the employment contract and everything that revolves around it, an expression of the relationship of trust between the company and its employees. We expected to take much longer to build a significant customer portfolio. On the other hand, the market’s response has exceeded our wildest expectations. Starting the new year by being chosen by a player like WeRoad, which has made the value of the relationship its hallmark, is an important confirmation of the direction we have taken”.

The technological platform developed by Jet HR is easy to use, both for the company and for employees: it is possible to access complete personnel records, obtain simulations on labor costs, send contracts and formalize hiring independently. A single point of access for all the administrative management of employees and collaborators that integrates, for example, the rental and delivery of PCs, the booking of medical visits, participation in safety courses and other mandatory obligations, and solves with fluid steps any personnel problem such as the request for holidays and permits or the management of expense reports that, Once entered and approved, they flow directly into the payslips. Jet HR acts as a reference interlocutor because the platform also combines the expertise of partner labor consultants for value-added advice on all the most delicate and complex aspects that require customization, such as the creation of welfare plans, which are increasingly crucial for attracting and retaining talent, updating and identifying delicacies or the various opportunities arising from the continuous evolution of labor legislation.
