ShippyPro, a shipping management company, is consolidating abroad and inaugurating a new office in Paris, thanks in part to a 15 million capital increase by the American Five Elms Capital, which has decided to reposition itself on the technology platform (it had already done so in 2021 with a $5 million Series A round). Already active in the French market, ShippyPro chose Hexagone as the location for its new office, which is located in the ninth arrondissement of Paris.
The expansion into France comes after a steady growth path for ShippyPro, which recorded over €6 million in revenue in 2023, with plans to grow further by the end of 2024. Since its foundation in 2016, the company has gained solid international experience and marked several development milestones, which have led it to serve over 1,500 customers today with an increase in shipments processed of +25% this year compared to 2023. ShippyPro’s customers include brands operating in different business sectors such as Guess, Calzedonia, Diesel, Venchi and NaturaSì. The platform expects to have in its portfolio half of its customers in Italy, half on the foreign market.
In this phase of strong business development, ShippyPro remains very attentive to the issue of gender balance with over 52% female employees and 53% female managers, up 30% from the previous year.
ShippyPro supports companies in optimising their business processes by providing a complete solution for managing domestic and international shipments, for BtoB and BtoC needs, combined with excellent customer service. The platform centralises orders, compares the rates of various couriers and simplifies the management of shipments, customs clearance documents for international deliveries, tracking and returns. In addition, it customises and automates several shipping steps. ShippyPro’s technology enables companies to streamline the entire shipping process and provides them with detailed data to make quick and informed decisions, making transport operations more sustainable and efficient, even on a global scale.
“ShippyPro started from Florence but with ambitious goals: to invest in R&D and in our technology hub in Florence to build Europe’s largest e-commerce and logistics hub. To date, we have come to serve 60 countries, bringing to the world our idea of made in Italy, which we transmit to our customers. This means hospitality and attention to detail, an all-Italian sensibility accustomed to enhancing every detail,’ says Francesco Borghi, co-founder and CEO of ShippyPro, in a note. (pictured with the other co-founder Lorenzo Rogai) – It is from the desire to spread this concept that our entry into the French market stems, which today represents a milestone for us in our international growth path, with the ambitious goal of acquiring an increasingly central role in international cross-border logistics, as well as continuing to be an important opportunity to offer innovative and modular solutions to an increasingly global customer base’.
The platform brings together over 180 local and international couriers such as UPS, Fedex, DHL, TNT, Poste Italiane, GLS, InPost, Amazon Shipping and over 80 sales channels and marketplaces, including Amazon, Shopify, Ebay, Prestashop, Magento. This system allows companies to select the most suitable shipping options based on cost and delivery time, tailored to the needs of their end customers.
ShippyPro is committed to offering a turnkey digital ecosystem that caters to all sectors: luxury, fashion, health, pharmaceuticals, retail, food and more, for both BtoB and BtoC needs. The platform is already available in five languages: French, English, Italian, Spanish and German, and provides comprehensive shipping support to provide tailor-made solutions at all times.
