Proptech start-up Ekore raises EUR 1.3 million

Ekore, a start-up that through the digital twin is revolutionising the management of buildings and cities, announces that it has closed a EUR 1.3 million seed investment round.

The deal involves two strategic investors: SOM, a company operating in the fuel retail sector, and Habismart, the proptech accelerator of the CDP Venture Capital National Network, whose investors include the CDP Venture Capital Accelerators Fund, Zest, Nova Capital and Coima.

The technology proposed by Ekore allows, through digital twin, to evolve the management of real estate assets, reduce energy costs and support data-driven decisions for a smarter management of buildings and cities. This capital increase confirms the startup’s role as an emerging player in the panorama of technological innovation applied to the real estate and urban sector.

“The entry of SOM and Habismart into our capital will allow us to make the necessary investments to massively deploy the solution within the real estate asset management market, optimising consumption management and sustainability,” says Andrea Agostini, CEO of Ekore (pictured here with the team), in a note. “This round will allow us to accelerate the development of our solutions, bringing innovation within a market where there is ample room for improvement.”

“The investment in Ekore represents an important step forward in the integrated management of the group’s assets across the various sectors in which we operate and fits optimally into the ongoing ESG path,” says Giovanni Maria Gross, CEO of SOM. “We are delighted to have participated in this additional seed round through the vehicle of Habismart, a proptech accelerator of the National Accelerator Network of CDP Venture Capital.

“The ability to do predictive analysis on buildings is essential for improving verification and error control techniques in asset management and maintenance, and Ekore, with its digital twin technology also capable of collecting relevant KPIs to manage any anomalies, has great potential for growth. Thanks to this investment, the company will be able to continue developing the platform and technology and continue to grow in the market,’ adds Stefano Molino senior partner and head of the Accelerators Fund of CDP Venture Capital.

“We invested in Ekore because we firmly believe in the transformative potential of the digital twin applied to the proptech sector. The proposed solution revolutionises property and urban management, integrating technological innovation and sustainability. The market offers enormous opportunities and Ekore’s growth highlights its uniqueness and ability to penetrate new market segments. We are excited to support their expansion and help define a smarter, more sustainable future for real estate,’ says Gabriele Ronchini, CEO of Zest Investments.

The capital raised will mainly be used to enhance Ekore’s platform and algorithms, expand the team, and for commercial expansion. With this round, Ekore strengthens its position in the national proptech landscape and confirms its commitment to bringing innovation and sustainability to the heart of urban and real estate development.
