Poke House expands to Belgium

Poke House, the scaleup that manages the chain of restaurants specializing in healthy bowls, ushers in the new year by announcing a further expansion of the brand through the investment in the Belgian brand of the same name, Poké House Belgium. A further strategic acquisition, the sixth for the food brand born at the end of 2018 from an idea of the two entrepreneurs Matteo Pichi and Vittoria Zanetti, which consolidates Poke House’s role as a global player as a fast casual chain in the poke bowls category. Poké House Belgium was founded in September 2018 by Lara Dratwa, Elia Dratwa and Sammy Tielemans. To date, the company has 15 active locations and concrete expansion plans that concern both the domestic market and new geographies. The brand, thanks to rapid execution and centralized production that allows to define a constant standard of the quality of raw materials and at the same time guarantee cost containment, is today positioned as the main national player in the Belgian healthy bowl market. The operation resumes the brand formula already adopted in the past in Portugal in 2020 and in Austria in 2022 with the investment in Honu Tiki Bowls: the founders of Poké House Belgium will remain at the operational helm of the brand, implementing an integration process that aims to transfer skills and modus operandi, sharing technological support and the know-how that Poke House has obtained in recent years, Finally, with the aim of implementing a rebranding over the next few months.

A network of 180 venues

The announcement, which thus brings the brand to more than 180 locations around the world, comes at the end of a fundamental 2023 for the development of Poke House thanks to the entry into the Red Circle Investments Group, Renzo Rosso’s private investment company which has joined active investors Euler Capital, FG2 Capital, MIP SGR and Angelo Moratti, who continues to confirm his trust in the project in the first person. “It is with great excitement that we announce the entry of Poke House into the Belgian market, a key step in our global journey that underlines our commitment and confidence in bringing our format to the world.
