The start-up aims to transform the public relations and communication sector with the use of artificial intelligence and data by combining proprietary technology, news analysis and alternative data, it is able to identify in real time the most relevant sources, journalists and content creators for each topic to support companies and professionals in media relations management.
Point-out’s technology offering is articulated in the approach software as a service that has processed over six million articles from more than 1,800 publications and mapped 20,000 authors, helping professionals to identify who is writing about certain topics, in customised analytics and data providing that provides categorised data to integrate third-party AI models, and in media partnerships that allows accurate distribution lists to be generated based on the topics actually covered by journalists and content creators.

In addition to optimising the SaaS platform, Point-out started research and development to create a unique generative tool based on processed data, news and alternative data. This tool aims to simplify the creation of qualified content for consistent and effective corporate communication and to improve media engagement.

Point-out was born from the union of the skills and experience of three professionals who bring value from both the journalistic and technical worlds: Nicola Comelli brings his background as a journalist and communications consultant, guaranteeing a profound knowledge of media and relational dynamics; Filippo Benetti, with a solid background as a data scientist and analytics director, offers the expertise needed to develop cutting-edge data-driven solutions; and Fabio Era, with his experience as a research director and manager in the field of data and market intelligence, contributes a strategic and innovative approach to data management and exploitation.
