Lombardia Venture invests EUR 14.6 million in Indaco’s fund

The Indaco Ventures I – Parallel Lombardia Fund of Indaco Venture Partners SGR was created. It benefits from a ‘commitment’ of approximately EUR 14.6 million from the ‘Lombardia Venture‘ fund of funds of the Lombardy Region, financed with European funds from the Lombardy ERDF 21-27 PR (Action 1.3.2) and managed by Finlombarda.

Consistent with the regional Lombardia Venture initiative, the Fondo Indaco Ventures I – Parallel Lombardia will systematically co-invest, until 30 June 2028, with the Fondo Indaco Venture I in companies operating in Lombardy and showing strong potential for technological innovation.

‘The launch of the Parallel Lombardia Fund, which is the first concrete step after our successful participation in the Lombardia Venture initiative, will enable us to enhance the investments of our Indaco Venture I fund for the benefit of technology companies in Lombardy. Lombardy is a particularly fertile territory for innovation and company growth, especially in the deep tech sectors. This project sees us playing a leading role in contributing in a concrete way to the further development of this dynamic and evolving ecosystem,’ Antonella Beltrame, co-founder and investment director of Indaco SGR, commented in a note.

“We firmly believe that collaboration between the public and private sector is very helpful in accelerating the development of start-ups. Our goal is to utilise the resources allocated to us in a timely and profitable manner. We have already contracted the first investment opportunity, which we expect to announce shortly, as soon as the deliberative process is complete,’ adds Davide Turco, co-founder and CEO of Indaco SGR.(Photo by Mike Hindle on Unsplash)
