Kepleror AI , a deeptech startup that develops solutions for companies that want to automate customer service through AI assistants, says it has closed its first round of funding raising 400 thousand euros. The round sees the participation of 40Jemz Ventures as lead investor and a number of strategic business angels. Among the investors there is also Orange Palestre Torino, already a customer of the company. Born in October 2023 from the common vision of Gabriele Feudo, CEO and co-founder, and Giovanni Davalli, COO and co-founder, Keplero AI, thanks to its platform, allows companies to automate customer service at all its touchpoints: website, email, Whatsapp business, Instagram and Messenger. By integrating with any API and external software, you can get specific information in real-time and perform actions such as bookings, order search, and quote generation for users. In just a few months since its establishment, the company already has more than 100 loyal customers, mainly focused on four sectors: education, e-commerce, travel and hospitality. Thanks to the capital raised, Keplero AI intends to develop and expand its platform and thus improve customer service through new features. By exploiting the potential of artificial intelligence, the service will not be limited to chat support, but the validation of potential customers will be transferred to the call center, where an AI assistant will be able to call and make an initial assessment of customer requests. After launching the chatbot, the implementation of the AI-based sales agent is being developed. A virtual assistant will be in charge of contacting targeted customers through in-depth data analysis, making sales and marketing operations.
Investments in technology and the team
To achieve its goals, the startup also aims to invest in its team. With six resources currently present between Milan and Rome, the entry of other resources divided between the tech and sales team is expected, in particular AI engineers and senior sales. The intentions outlined with the round reflect the ambition of the founders. In fact, Keplero AI wants to offer companies a service that allows them to optimize the use of resources in sales and customer care processes, thus responding in a timely manner to the needs of a market that requires precision and speed in response. In fact, the presence of a system based on artificial intelligence makes it possible to quickly analyze large amounts of data and carry out daily activities, without replacing human resources who will thus be able to devote themselves to the most relevant operations. “This round was very important for us because it represents a concrete support for the development of the company and reflects a genuine interest in this sector. Artificial intelligence is now a well-established presence in our daily lives and is gaining more and more importance in the workplace. Our intent is not to replace human potential with technology. We want to provide companies with the ability to deploy resources on important issues, providing support that improves the achievement of goals. Artificial intelligence, a source of countless information, thus deals with activities that often slow down operations, allowing people to devote themselves to the most significant challenges” – Gabriele Feudo and Giovanni Davalli say in a note. “Our mantra is to look for and invest in startups that solve long-standing problems in an innovative way, improve the efficiency of processes with intelligence and innovation. We had no doubts about Keplero AI’s value proposition and we are aware that it will have to stand out in a highly competitive market. We have the ambition to support Gabriele and Giovanni in the accelerated obstacle course in which they are participating, confident that they have what it takes and a smart strategic approach to achieve ambitious goals,” says David Erba, co-managing partner of 40Jemz Ventures.
