Joinrs, a startup that has developed a digital recruiting platform that connects university students and junior profiles with large companies, announces that it has closed a €1.7 million investment round and completed the capital increase.
The resources raised will be used mainly to accelerate the internationalization of Joinrs, which already sees over 100 thousand new international users using the platform to enter the world of work.
Among the startup’s main investors are the Innova Venture fund of the Lazio Region, funded by the POC Lazio 2014/2020 and managed by Lazio Innova, Doorway and several international business angels.
A strong boost to the funding round was given by the important result obtained by Joinrs during the recent Web Summit 2023 in Lisbon, which saw the company ranked among the top ten startups in the world.
Internationalization and artificial intelligence
In addition to strengthening the internationalization process which, launched at the end of 2023, now also sees Joinrs present in the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal and Brazil, the startup will continue to invest in the refinement of Joinrs AI, the artificial intelligence capable of reading job ads instead of users. It is a tool that has generated +125% of job applications in 2023, allowing the more than 600 thousand users who make up the Joinrs community to get in touch with large companies looking for the best talent acquisition and employer branding strategies.
Joinrs will also continue its growth with the opening of a new office abroad, which will be announced shortly, and strengthening those in Rome and Milan with the inclusion of new resources in the team.
“Our goal is to make Joinrs the international reference solution for the new generations at the beginning of their professional careers. In this sense, with the capital raising that has just been concluded, we intend to consolidate Joinrs’ position in Italy and to validate the business model in other target countries,” commented Gabriele Giugliano, CEO and co-founder of Joinrs, in a note. In just a few months, we have already exceeded 100,000 registered users in the UK, Spain and Brazil and we are determined to continue to grow our platform and community, continuing to make the process of entering the world of work easier and more effective for young people and, at the same time, allowing companies to identify the best junior talent”.
