Cassandra.app, an artificial intelligence-based platform designed to optimise the media mix and improve return on advertising investments, announces that it has closed a EUR 2 million seed funding round. This new capital will be used to support Cassandra.app’s international expansion and to accelerate the development of its AI-based marketing mix modelling by integrating Google’s Meridian technology within three months.
The EUR 2 million round was led by Italian Founders Fund, with the participation of PitchDrive (Belgium), Webranking (Italy), Mana Ventures (USA), Lorenzo Lato (Italy) and Marco Di Pietro (Switzerland). The funds will be used to further enhance the platform, expand the team and strengthen Cassandra.app’s international presence.
Positioned as an independent partner for brands, Cassandra.app combines collaborations with leading platforms and cutting-edge technologies to refine its solutions. Adopting Google’s latest innovations, the company continues to push the boundaries of data-driven advertising optimisation.
Co-founded in 2023 by Gabriele Franco, Cassandra.app has revolutionised the marketing mix modelling industry with sophisticated machine learning algorithms capable of automatically analysing advertising data, identifying inefficient budget allocations and suggesting more effective reallocation strategies. Its system generates predictive scenarios to estimate the impact of future campaigns. Thanks to this technology, the company achieved one million Euro ARR in just 16 months, maintaining profitability. In addition, Cassandra.app recently completed its integration with Meta, becoming an official marketing mix modelling partner.
“Obtaining this funding represents a major step forward for us,” said Gabriele Franco, co-founder of Cassandra.app (pictured), in a note. “It will allow us to further strengthen our product and accelerate our expansion in key markets globally. Our goal is to provide brands with cutting-edge tools to optimise their data-driven advertising strategies, and this investment brings us even closer to this vision.”
Currently, Cassandra.app supports more than 60 clients globally, including Treedom (Italy), Verisure (France), LoopEarplug (Belgium), Ferragamo (Italy), Urban Armor Gear (USA) and Baltic Born (USA), analysing more than EUR 500 million of advertising investments each year.
“The future of marketing can no longer be based on outdated models. Thanks to artificial intelligence and machine learning, Cassandra.app enables brands to make data-driven decisions and optimise budgets with scientific precision. With this new funding, we will recruit top talent and accelerate our 12-month technical plan and business expansion,” adds Franco.
