Bending Spoons buys Mosaic Group

Bending Spoons announces that it has agreed to acquire the assets of Mosaic Group, a subsidiary of IAC specializing in mobile software, for a sum that has not been disclosed because it is subject to closing conditions.

Under the terms of the agreement, Bending Spoons will acquire Mosaic Group’s assets, including its suite of digital products containing popular mobile applications such as Clime, Robokiller, and iTranslate, as well as its intellectual property.

The CEO of Bending Spoons, Luca Ferrari, says in a statement: “We look forward to welcoming the Mosaic app collection to the Bending Spoons portfolio, and we are committed to doing our utmost to ensure that the products continue to be successful in the years to come.”

The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2024.

Bending Spoons was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Milan, Italy, with over half a billion users worldwide through its suite of digital technology products, including Evernote, Remini, and Splice. Its products are currently used by over 100 million people every month.

The Mosaic Group has a portfolio of more than 40 mobile applications spanning the fitness, lifestyle, entertainment, and utility categories, and includes popular titles such as RoboKiller, iTranslate, and NOAA’s Weather Radar Live: Clime. Its products have been downloaded more than a billion times and are part of IAC, which is an organization based in New York that gives life to companies such as the cases of Angi, Dotdash Meredith and Care.com, as well as many others ranging from the initial to the more consolidated stages.
