Banco BPM and the startup Switcho announce the launch of a collaboration that focuses on the user’s financial well-being, thanks to which the bank’s customers have the opportunity to save on utilities in a 100% digital, secure and transparent way.
Switcho is the 100% digital and free service that helps you save on electricity, gas and telephony costs: born in 2019 and financed for over 4 million euros, Switcho has already offered its 700 thousand users savings options for over 190 million euros.
Two consolidated companies that, under the guise of open finance, have chosen to join forces to simplify the management of utilities for Banco BPM’s customers. In fact, Switcho’s savings service is now available directly from the bank’s app: with just a few steps, users can upload their bills to Switcho to receive a personalized analysis that reveals if improved electricity and gas offers are available. If so, the Switcho team takes care of all the bureaucracy related to switching suppliers; If not, however, the customer is advised to stick with their current offer. The service, regardless of the result of the analysis, It’s completely free. Furthermore, the entire process is developed online and without the use of commercial call centers, a winning choice today more than ever to fully respect the customer’s time and privacy.
“We are proud of the collaboration with Banco BPM ,” says Marco Tricarico, CEO and co-founder of Switcho, in a note, “because it allows us to solve the long-standing problem of bills for more and more users.” In recent years, in fact, the attention to electricity and gas utilities has grown in parallel with the costs of bills: if it is true that today consumers are more aware, it is also correct to say that there is still a lot of confusion on the subject.
