Scientifica VC, stock options for employees

Scientifica Venture Capital, a venture capital operator dedicated to investments in deeptech startups, announces that it has launched a stock option plan to be assigned to team members.

“Every venture capital evaluates the startups to invest in according to its own models and priorities of values. For us at Scientifica Venture Capital, technological depth, intellectual property and the impact that the solution will have on society and the environment, are fundamental values but there is an element of evaluation that is at the top of the list of any venture capital and that is the competence and integrity of the founding team. Our stock option plan is nothing more than confirmation of the importance and value we place on the team and, in this specific case, on our great team. We believe it’s important to share success with those who help create it, which is why we introduced it. We are convinced that this incentive tool will help promote the team’s trust, commitment and identification with the company. The introduction of the plan represents a unique opportunity that reflects both our commitment to the value that the ‘people’ who work with us bring to the company, and our confidence in their contribution to the success of Scientifica Venture Capital,” Riccardo D’Alessandri, managing partner of Scientifica Venture Capital, said in a statement.

With the assignment of the stock options, team members will have the opportunity to acquire an ownership stake in the share of Scientifica Venture Capital.

“We are thrilled to offer our employees this extraordinary opportunity to participate in the success of our investment firm,” adds Patrick Leoni Sceti, general partner of Scientifica Venture Capital. We believe that sharing the goals achieved is essential to build a paradigm of collaboration and motivation within our company. The stock options provide a significant incentive for our team and reflect our commitment to meritocratically rewarding those who contribute to the success of Scientifica Venture Capital.”
